The face features King Boleslaw I the Brave within an engraved oval portrait medallion at right. The left ornamental panel incorporates the crowned Polish eagle, while the central field contains the denomination, Warsaw issue date, and the printed signatures of Minister of Finance Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski and Director of the Currency Circulation Department Wieslaw Domaniewski.

Poland 1946 - 1 Zloty Narodowy Bank Polski Specimen (Pick 123s)

The obverse centres the written denomination within an ornate guilloche rosette surrounded by geometric ornamentation and the issuing clause of Narodowy Bank Polski. Printed signatures of President Edward Drożniak, Managing Director Witold Trąmpczyński, and Treasurer Karol Pustówka appear below the central design. The reverse presents a matching guilloche composition with both the numeric and written denomination executed in amaranth typographic printing.
