Poland 1926 - Bank Polski 10 Zlotych Archival Watermarked Paper (Miłczak 64)

This undated '10 ZŁ' watermark became the standard form for circulation and differs from the much rarer experimental '992–1025' dated watermark used on Pick 65br remainders. The plain watermarked paper such as this is considered an intermediate stage between the 1926 trial materials and the fully issued 1929 Pick 69 notes, which adopted the same watermark in mass production. Poland 1919 - Bank Polski 100 Zlotych Serial S.B. 5482263 Issued Note (Pick 57)

Series S.B. was one of three regular issued series used for the denomination. All surviving issued notes carry seven-digit serial numbers printed on both the left and right sides of the obverse. This example, serial 5482263, preserves an individually identifiable note from the inaugural Bank Polski issue released during the 1924 Grabski monetary reform. Read more →

Poland 1919 - Bank Polski 1 Zloty Serial S.26C 070070 Issued Note (Pick 51)

The face presents a portrait of Tadeusz Kosciuszko within a circular engraved medallion at left. The Bank Polski title appears prominently above the denomination, while the date and printed signatures occupy the lower central field. Poland 1919 - Bank Polski 1 Zloty Specimen S.36B 060793 with WZÓR and BEZ WARTOŚCI Overprints (Pick 51s)

The specimen markings are applied in red across the printed design. WZÓR. appears diagonally across the face, while Bez wartości. is positioned along the upper and lower margins. Though technically an unissued type, the 1000 złotych is one of the most coveted of the 1919 notes. Survivors are few, and most show heavy folds or restoration. Poland 1940 - 500 Zlotych, Series A with Counterfeit Numbering Issued Note (Pick 98a)

Original 500 złotych note of 1 March 1940 issued by the Bank Emisyjny w Polsce, Series A, serial A 1319803. Although the banknote itself is genuine, its serial falls within the 13xxxxx numbering range later associated with diversionary forgeries of the 500 złotych denomination. Together with the 12xxxxx sequence, these numbers became compromised by the appearance of counterfeit notes, making A 1319803 an extremely rare surviving original from a range subsequently targeted for withdrawal.
