Uruguay 1920 - Bradbury, Wilkinson & Company José Gervasio Artigas Engraved Portrait Die Proof (Reference 192A, Cancelled)

The portrait depicts Artigas in restrained neoclassical profile, engraved with finely controlled line work and tightly structured cross-hatching. The treatment reflects British security engraving practice of the early twentieth century, emphasizing anatomical precision, tonal balance, and institutional authority rather than heroic or romanticized interpretation.

Egypt 1921 - National Bank of Egypt, Cairo Branch Issued Cheque

Paper texture shows natural vertical chain-line impressions characteristic of high-grade mould-made security stock. Soft edge handling folds are present, consistent with bank-counter use but without any tears or losses. The reverse shows only faint ink transfer and no secondary endorsements, supporting the interpretation that the cheque was cleared internally without entering wider circulation.

Uruguay 1939 - Banco de la Republica Oriental del Uruguay 1000 Pesos Specimen, De La Rue Cancel Stamp, Serie A, Specimen No. 50 (Pick 41as)

The reverse displays the complete allegorical equestrian scene associated with the one thousand pesos type, executed at the same engraving standard as circulation notes. The absence of cancellation on the reverse reinforces the interpretation of this piece as a formal institutional reference specimen rather than a presentation or display example.

Italy 1765 - Regie Finanze di Torino - 100 Lire Front Proof, Final Face State (Pick Unlisted)

The engraved design is vertically oriented and dominated by a large pictorial vignette occupying the upper half of the note. At center, a Savoyard shield bearing the cross of Savoy is set within a monumental landscape scene featuring vegetation, water, and sailing vessels, framed by billowing clouds and radiating lines suggesting light or atmospheric depth. Below the vignette, the issuing inscription Biglietto di credito verso le Regie Finanze is engraved within a tablet-like cartouche integrated into the landscape.
