This 14 December 1935 letterhead represents a museum-level artifact from the height of interwar Levant–Egypt maritime commerce, preserving the operational footprint of one of the most important private transport agencies active in the region before World War II. The present dossier is a rare complete survival. Most consular legalizations were separated into components and destroyed after internal filing cycles. Others lost their revenue adhesives, had their seals removed, or were trimmed down for bureaucratic reuse. Examples preserving full notarial content, multiple high-value Marca da Bollo adhesives, consular seals, tribunal validations, foreign-ministry confirmations, and complete manuscript entries across two intact pages are exceptionally scarce. This 1927 example is a museum-grade artifact documenting Italian civil law, interwar consular practice, and the cross-border administrative mechanisms linking Sicily and Egypt during the late Kingdom period. Its most striking feature is the complete booklet pane of six 5-millieme King Fouad revenue stamps affixed together, fully intact and without separation. Government offices almost always detached individual stamps for fee payment, making the survival of a full booklet pane on a working document exceptionally rare. The pane remains in its original 2-by-3 configuration with uniform perforations and complete margins, showing that it was removed as a single unit from a revenue booklet rather than assembled from loose singles. All six stamps bear full manuscript cancellation across their surfaces, and the entire pane is additionally tied by a large circular ministry seal in violet, overlapping both the adhesives and the underlying paper.
