The design shows the large corner denomination tablets, strong rectangular border, C.B.C. Travellers' Cheque title panel, central bank-name field, scripted amount line, drawer's signature area, and the repeated security underprint across the background. The main engraved design is framed by dense geometric work and finely developed guilloche structures characteristic of Bradbury Wilkinson's nineteenth-century security printing. A large portrait of Christopher Columbus appears at the left of the principal note, balanced by a standing child vignette at the right. Repeated numerical 10 devices, ornamental value cartouches, fine-line backgrounds, layered color printing, and carefully structured typography create a complex security composition built around denomination recognition, institutional authority, and anti-alteration engraving. The reverse is fully printed in a restrained brown tone. A large central 20 is enclosed by ornamental structures, with VEINTE PESOS extending horizontally through the middle and OXANDABURU Y GARVINO and GUALEGUAYCHU incorporated into the surrounding design.
