Examples preserving full notarial content, multiple high-value Marca da Bollo adhesives, consular seals, tribunal validations, foreign-ministry confirmations, and complete manuscript entries across two intact pages are exceptionally scarce. This 1927 example is a museum-grade artifact documenting Italian civil law, interwar consular practice, and the cross-border administrative mechanisms linking Sicily and Egypt during the late Kingdom period. Before the widespread availability of private sworn translators and standardized international notarial agreements, the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs maintained an internal Translation and Legalisation Department responsible for producing certified translations and official authentications for use abroad. Municipal or community authorities such as the President of the Community in Volos first certified the original act; only then could an MFA translator in Athens prepare an English version, which finally received ministerial legalization so that foreign courts, consulates, or immigration offices would accept the document as valid. The Banco de Zaragoza was founded in 1857 under the liberal banking reforms of the Law of January 28, 1856, which briefly allowed numerous regional banks to issue their own currency. Operating only until 1874, when all private-issue banks were absorbed into the Banco de España, the bank produced a small and tightly structured series of reales de vellón notes. Its denomination system was tied directly to series lettering: Serie A = 100 reales, Serie B = 200 reales, Serie C = 500 reales, Serie D = 1000 reales, Serie E = 2000 reales, Serie F = 4000 reales.
